S2 Unit 5: Mid-Point Portfolio

What this unit does
The mid-point portfolio stage, under AO1–AO4 Present. You refine one resolved piece to a standard the mid point can stand on; you integrate the bibliography into the body of the work, not leave it as a detached list; you plan the page architecture before you build it; and you sequence the whole journey, edit it (cut what does not earn its place), photograph it to submission standard and quality-control it in supervised sessions. The unit closes with A4 — the C3 mid-point portfolio, marked across all four AOs, with no edits after submission. The summer production window then feeds directly into Semester 3.
Dates & span
Weeks S15–S16 (Mon 2027-05-30 → 2027-06-11), 10 sessions. These spring dates may shift when the school publishes the calendar for that period.

Assessment
A4, Fri 2027-06-11 — the mid-point portfolio (recording, exploration, artist pages, development, one resolved piece and the research paper draft, sequenced and edited), marked against AO1–AO4; no edits after submission.
