About this week

G12 is at Seniors’ Day all week, so nothing carries from one day to the next and nothing assessable sits here. These are five sessions that do not build on each other. The through-line is thematic, not sequential — five different ways into the same question, any of which works on its own. If you miss all five, you have missed content, not a running argument.

How it runs

  • Day 1 · Mon 26 Oct · U3·L6 — shared-lunch prep: the meal as artwork, planned in pairs, with your decisions defended rather than just preferred.
  • Day 2 · Tue 27 Oct · U3·L7 — still life and the ethics of abundance: what did this cost, who paid.
  • Day 3 · Wed 28 Oct · U3·L8 — individual reflection: your own table, without turning it into a memory piece. You finish the deliverable today.
  • Day 4 · Thu 29 Oct · U3·L9 — what a shared meal makes visible that talking does not.
  • Day 5 · Fri 30 Oct · U3·L10 — seminar: is hospitality generosity or obligation. LB4 is posted for whoever is present.

Assessment

  • The your-table reflection — written and finished Wed 2026-10-28.
  • LB4 — Fri 2026-10-30, posted for the students in the room. G12 students are not penalised for being at Seniors’ Day.
  • Mid-term grades are due Thu 2026-10-29 and rest on A2 plus participation.
